Through my photography I seek to explore nature, humans, and the increasingly complex interface between them. As a society, we have become increasingly aware that our current modus operandi is a fallacy; Earth cannot sustain our activity indefinitely.

I photograph the beauty provided by nature: mountains, rivers, and trees. To explore the dichotomy I also photograph urban environments with particular attention on less than crowning achievements: graffiti, abandoned buildings, and trash.

Using photographic art, I seek to explore the modern struggle humans have co-existing with the land. Like most important issues, the current environmental crisis is not a happy topic, but one I feel needs to be addressed.
