Project Description:
Reworking the website for 888ArtFest was my largest challenge to that point. The existing site—having been created sometime in the 90′s using plain-old HTML—had grown to be extremely large and cumbersome. The goal was to rework the thousands of pages into a new WordPress installation so that control over content could be given back to my client’s staff. The site uses WordPress pages combined with extensive meta data (custom fields) to catalog hundreds of artists, art festivals, authors, and musicians all while maintaining the core WordPress function of creating blog posts.
